Organizational Roles Overview

1. Owner

  • The creator of the Organization and the highest-level role.

  • Full control over the Organization settings, including:

    • Transfer ownership and deleting the Organization.

    • Manage billing, plans, and payment details.

    • Purchase additional empty seats.

    • Invite and remove users, if additional an empty seat is available.

    • Assign roles and permissions.

2. Admin

  • Team managers who assist in managing the Organization

  • Similar permissions as the Owner, except:

    • Cannot transfer ownership or delete the Organization.

3. Editor

  • Assigned to users who need to actively manage and analyze property data.

  • Editors Can:

    • Add, edit, and manage portfolios and properties.

    • Download property and portfolio reports.

    • Invite and remove users, if additional an empty seat is available.

  • Editors Cannot: Access certain Organizations settings such as billing or plan settings.

4. Viewer

  • Users who need to view data but not make changes.

  • Viewers do not require an assigned seat.

  • Viewers Can:

    • View select Organization portfolios and properties.

    • View an Organizations member list (read-only).

  • Viewers Cannot:

    • Edit portfolios or properties.

    • Download reports or access billing settings.

    • Access any Organization settings.

1. Admin

Ideal for: Leaders or managers overseeing the Organization’s operations on Neural Earth.

  • Senior Managers: Oversee portfolio management, assign roles, and ensure team alignment.

  • Operations Directors: Monitor data accuracy and handle billing or team management.

  • Team Leads or Department Heads: Oversee the workflows and manage team member roles.

  • IT Administrators: Handle user access, permissions, and billing configurations.

2. Editor

Ideal for: Team members who actively manage property portfolios or require in-depth access to data for analysis.

  • Underwriters: Evaluate property and portfolio risk and generate risk reports.

  • Brokers: Manage property data for client presentations and proposals.

  • Market Analysts: Tasked with analyzing property and portfolio data to provide insights.

  • Project Managers: Responsible for organizing portfolios and ensuring properties are updated accurately.

3. Viewer

Ideal for: Team members or stakeholders who need visibility into data without the ability to make changes.

  • Key Stakeholders & Executives: Require high-level insights into risk scores or portfolio summaries.

  • External Partners Collaborate on projects while limiting editing privileges.

  • Clients or Investors: Need access to view reports or property data without editing permissions.


FAQs

Can I assign multiple Owners to an Organization?

  • No, only one Owner is allowed, but ownership can be transferred.

Can Editors invite new users?

  • Yes, Editors can invite users. But there must be an empty seat available and can only assign them as Editors or Viewers

What happens when a users is removed?

  • Their seat becomes an Empty Seat and can be reassigned.

Can a Viewer become an Editor?

  • Yes, Owners, Admins and Editors can assign an Editor Seat to a Viewer. However, there must be an empty seat available.
