Before uploading, verify your addresses using the US Postal Service Address Verification Tool.
To batch upload properties to Neural Earth, follow the steps below to ensure a successful upload:
Navigate to the All Properties Page: Click on the All Properties icon in the left-hand menu and you will be directed to the All Properties page.
Start a New Batch Upload: To the right of the search bar, click the 'Batch Uploads' button to begin the upload process.
Download the Template: On the upload screen, click 'Download Template' to obtain the standard CSV format.
Prepare Your File: Fill out the template with your property details. Be sure to follow all address formatting guidelines to avoid errors.
Select the Target Portfolio: Click the select a portfolio dropdown button to choose which portfolio your properties should be uploaded to. This list displays all portfolios associated with your organization.

Upload Your File: Drag and drop your completed CSV file into the upload area.
File must be in CSV format. (CSV UTF-8 is recommended)
You can upload up to 1,000 properties per file. (Including header row)
File size must be under 5MB.
You must stay on the page during upload — navigating away will stop the process.
Once the file is accepted, you’ll see a green “Success! Batch upload in progress” notification and be redirected to the Batch Uploads page:
Upload status will appear in the table (e.g., In Progress, Completed, or Failed).
Once complete, download a receipt of the batch upload by clicking 'Download Log' in the table row.
2. How to Cancel a Batch Upload
You can cancel your own batch upload (but not someone else's) by:
Click 'Cancel Upload', located on the row in the batch upload table.
Confirming your decision in the pop-up screen by clicking 'Cancel Batch Upload'.
Once canceled, the upload status will display as Failed and you will receive a confirmation notification.
3. Error Handling and Troubleshooting
If your file contains formatting issues or missing fields, you’ll receive immediate feedback on the page.
Common upload errors include:
File size over 5MB.
Uploading over 1,000 properties per file.
Incorrect file format. (non-CSV or CSV UTF-8)
Missing required columns.
Columns are not named as expected.
Invalid or improperly formatted addresses.
If your upload fails:
You’ll see an error message with options to try again or re-upload after fixing the issue.
Neural Earth will return a CSV file that includes an “Issue Description” column.
Each row will list any detected errors inline, helping you quickly locate and correct formatting problems.
