💡Pro Tip:

  • Regularly review your portfolio structure to ensure that properties are grouped logically. Moving properties between portfolios as needed can help optimize your portfolio analysis and reporting.

4. How to Add a Property to Multiple Portfolios

Neural Earth allows properties to belong to multiple portfolios at once. This makes it easy to generate unique reports, organize properties by different strategies, and analyze shared assets across various risk scenarios. This feature is typically used to:

  • Compare how a property contributes to different risk profiles.

  • Run client-specific reports without duplicating property data.

  • Evaluate mitigation strategies in multiple geographic or financial scenarios.

Here are a few key considerations when adding a property to multiple portfolios:

  • Adding vs. Moving: Adding a property to another portfolio will keep it in its existing portfolios. Moving a property will remove it from all others.

  • Impact on Reporting: Adding a property to multiple portfolios will immediately impact the Portfolio RiskRank and related scores.

  • Why It Matters: This flexibility allows you to evaluate the same property across different portfolio contexts, like comparing client-specific exposures or project-based groupings.

Here's how to add a property to another portfolio:

  1. Find the Property:

    1. Navigate to the All Properties page of your organization.

    2. Type in the address of the property in the search bar.

  2. Open the Property Page:

    1. Click on the name of the property you want to add to another portfolio.

    2. The property will open up in a new tab.

  3. Access the Action Menu:

    1. In the top-right corner of the Property Page, click the three dots icon (⋮).

    2. From the dropdown menu, select 'Add or move to'.

  4. Select 'Add to the Selected Portfolio':

    1. A pop-up window will appear.

    2. Select 'Add to the selected portfolio' from the two available options.

  5. Choose the Destination Portfolio:

    1. Click the 'Choose a portfolio' dropdown.

    2. Select the destination portfolio from the list.

  6. Confirm the Addition:

    1. Click 'Add Property' to complete the process.

    2. A green confirmation banner will appear once the property has been successfully added.

  7. Check the Portfolio Switcher:

    1. On the Property Page, a new dropdown menu next to the property name will now appear.

    2. This dropdown lists all portfolios that the property belongs to.

    3. You can click the menu to switch between different portfolio views for the same property.
